Lift Privacy Policy
Effective date: September 19, 2026
1. Overview
Lift is a workout planning and tracking app. It does not require you to create an account. This policy describes the limited information Lift sends to service providers and to Tubtaco, as well as information that stays on your device.
2. Information Stored on Your Device
Lift stores your workout plans, active workouts, workout history, custom exercises, and app preferences locally on your device using Apple’s UserDefaults storage. If you enable rest-timer notifications, Lift schedules those notifications locally on your device. Notification content is not sent to Tubtaco.
Lift does not upload workout plans, active workouts, workout history, exercise names, weights, repetitions, custom exercises, or app preferences to Tubtaco, Firebase, Apple, or RevenueCat.
3. Purchases and RevenueCat
Apple processes App Store payments. Lift uses RevenueCat’s Purchases SDK to provide subscriptions and paid-feature access. RevenueCat receives an anonymous customer identifier created by its SDK and purchase-related information needed to retrieve product offerings, subscription and product status, purchase history, and entitlement status. RevenueCat processes Purchase History for App Functionality and Analytics. Lift also provides RevenueCat with Firebase’s app-instance identifier through RevenueCat’s supported Firebase integration; Lift does not set a Firebase user ID or a RevenueCat app user ID.
Apple and RevenueCat handle information they receive under their own privacy practices, including their retention practices. See Apple’s Privacy Policy and RevenueCat’s Privacy Policy.
4. Firebase Analytics and Crash Diagnostics
Lift uses Firebase Analytics and Firebase Crashlytics (Google services) to understand limited app use and diagnose reliability problems. Lift’s own analytics events are limited to review-journey and subscription-lifecycle events. They may include a declared review context, whether the product is monthly or annual, or a bounded failure category (network, configuration, or unknown). They do not include workout details, exercise names, weights, repetitions, workout history, searches, feedback text, account information, transaction identifiers, raw errors, or free-form text.
Firebase may process app-instance and device information, product-interaction information, and crash or diagnostic information as part of providing its services. Automatic screen reporting is disabled. Lift uses Firebase data to improve app functionality, understand the limited interactions described above, and diagnose crashes and subscription failures. Google handles information it receives under its own privacy practices; see Google’s Privacy Policy.
5. Optional Feedback
If you choose to send feedback, Lift sends a POST request to Tubtaco’s feedback service containing your feedback text, an app-scoped installation UUID, your iOS version, and whether the app reports an active subscription. It also includes the app bundle ID and app version when those values are available. The installation UUID is created only when you first submit feedback, is stored locally with the app, and may reset after you delete and reinstall the app.
We use this submission to review feedback, diagnose issues, and improve Lift. Feedback does not receive an individual reply. Although Lift does not request a name or account for feedback, we treat the text, installation UUID, operating-system version, subscription status, and any bundle or app-version values transmitted together as linked to the same feedback submission. Do not include information you do not want us to retain in feedback text.
6. Sharing, Tracking, and Sales
Lift shares information with Apple for App Store purchases, RevenueCat for subscription services, Firebase/Google for the analytics and crash-diagnostic services described above, and Tubtaco for optional feedback submissions. These providers process information to provide their services and under their own privacy practices. Lift does not sell personal information, display advertising, or use information to track you across apps or websites.
7. Retention, Deletion, and Your Choices
You can change Lift preferences and delete workout content in the app where those controls are available. Deleting Lift removes its local UserDefaults data, including the locally stored feedback installation UUID, from that device, subject to device backups and operating-system behavior outside Lift’s control. It does not delete a feedback submission already received by Tubtaco.
Tubtaco stores feedback submissions in an access-restricted, append-only service record. The current service has no automatic retention or deletion period. To request access to or deletion of a feedback submission, contact us using the details below and include the submission receipt ID or installation UUID if available so we can try to locate the record. We may need to verify the request before acting on it.
Firebase/Google, Apple, and RevenueCat retain and honor deletion requests for information they control under their own policies and controls. You can disable notifications in Lift or in your device settings, choose not to send feedback, and manage App Store subscriptions through your Apple account settings.
8. Changes and Contact
We may update this policy when Lift’s data practices change. The current version will remain available at this URL. For privacy questions or requests about Lift, contact us through Tubtaco Support or email jwitapps@gmail.com with “Lift privacy request” in the subject.
