Plant Watering Privacy Policy

Effective date: September 6, 2026

1. Overview

Plant Watering is a houseplant watering tracker. It does not require an app account or collect information for advertising or analytics.

2. Information We Collect

Plant names, plant types, watering schedules, watering history, reminder preferences, and plant photos are stored on your device. If you enable the Plus iCloud-sync feature, that content is stored in your private Apple iCloud account so it can appear on your other devices.

The app does not include advertising, cross-app tracking, or third-party analytics. Apple processes subscription transactions, notification permissions, and optional iCloud data under Apple's privacy terms.

3. Storage and Deletion

You can remove individual plants and their photos in the app. Deleting the app removes its local data. Data already synced to your private iCloud account is controlled through your Apple account and may remain available for restoration or another signed-in device until deleted through the app or your iCloud storage controls.

4. Network Access

Core watering and editing features work without a network connection. StoreKit uses a network connection for subscription details and purchases. Optional iCloud sync uses Apple's CloudKit service. Plant Watering does not send your plant data to a Tubtaco-operated server.

5. Children's Privacy

Plant Watering is not directed to children under 13. Children should use the app only with parental guidance.

6. Changes to This Policy

We may update this policy if the app or its data practices change. The current policy will remain available at this URL.
